So, the other morning I was staring out at these massive old gum trees, kettle on, notebook open, feeling frazzled as hell with my to-do list… and I realised something:
Even after 13 years as a web designer, I STILL need to remind myself sometimes that it’s okay to slow down!
Sound familiar?
I’m the type who wakes up with an idea and has it launched by bedtime. (Yes, literally. Countless times. 😂). But right now, with a five-year-old, an elderly dog, a truck camper to ship overseas, and life happening…
It’s just not the season for me to aim to sustain that kind of go-go-go, triple-shot-espresso energy.
And that’s completely okay.
Burnout is not the badge of honour I want to wear anymore.
